Teez 0
Well I will answer your question... yes I think it could be fun. Does anyone have streamin software? we could indeed have a listen to some cheese!! We should also find/have a live chat section so we can all talk in real time. I found a software program called Pirate which allows free streaming off your PC but maybe one of the Pros should showcase !!! I'll have hats ready... Teez :xmas: Oh yes... Winter Wonderland - Ashanti IRC for chat is easy enough (irc.freenode.net is a good irc network), Shoutcast for streaming Just needs Winamp + Shoutcast DSP Plugin (I also have a server with oodles of capacity that never gets used that could relay it, although this is in theory illegal to do - not to relay shoutcast, - but do the actual broadcast bit!)... Teez 0
Found this on my new VDJ help page When ready to broadcast click on “Start Recording”. VirtualDJ will indicate the address of the webcast (for example http://123.45.67.89/Virtual.ogg). The address then can be sent to the intended listeners so they can connect and listen to the webcast using their favorite Internet audio players. There's gotta be a techie amongst us that's going to DJ the DJ's.... not sure about Skype though, would prefer to listen to the music and bash on the keyboards with glass of wine, mince pie and assistant on my lap (no webcams please) Teez :tree:

Paul's Karaoke 0
I suppose we could have a proper meet. As long as it's organised early enough with Digs etc maybe for next year. I'm sure we can organise a central point to meet. Kind Regards Paul Scunthorpe Paul's Karaoke Entertainment Big Screen Karaoke We Aim To Please

I could easily make it as far as Nottingham/Manchester for a reasonable kick off. Any furthur south would be a struggle. deejaymitch 0
You should all spoil yourselves and take a trip over the Irish sea to have a meeting over here. I'm a DJ based in Northern Ireland with nearly 10 years' experience offering a range of services. Including club residencies, karaoke, pub quizzes, specialised wedding service, Master of Ceremonies, Compere, Night at the Races and much more.
Teez 0
Yeh, a few beers with fellow DJ's actually would be fun. The Irish idea isnt that crazy. Pick the right date and I can get a return flight for twenty quid or so from Birmingham with Ryanair (going out is cheap... coming back is more expensive...I was going to do an Irish joke there.... but....) Nottingham's about as far North as I can justify without revenue.... anyone know a friendly dealer who would host? Teez :tree:
