Music2Party DJ 0
Hi my name is John I do wonder if I am the oldest dj as I am 62 years old? I was a drummer in a band and after tennis elbow set in and I decided I had to call time on drumming. My lovely wife Sue came up with the idea why don't I try being a dj and run our own business? Having been performing most of my life including being pro in the late 60's I jumped at the idea as I was really missing the buz of performing in front of an audience. We sold all my drums cymbals etc and bought second hand sound and lighting equipment and in August 2008 Music2Party was born. We are now in our 2nd year and business is good. Equipment I use a laptop a legal copy of Virtual DJ and have bought a Produb licence. We now use 4 Martin Roboscan 812's and a Martin controller. 2 spinmasters, 2 LED Par 56's a Revo 3 and a lazer.all dmx controlled All the lights hang on a dual bar Rhino Stan12A disco stand covered by an star cloth. Sound 1000watt amp Kam 1500 mixer and 2 HK Audio 15" speakers. Sue comes with me so we are a husband and wife disco which the lady customers seem to like dealing with Sue? We only do private parties and wedding hence our name. Hope that introduces us and we look forward to reading your replies.
