There are other hotels at the same prices - but I'd advise booking asap.

I'd probably leave HTFR to you lot. Not really interested as not looking to get any more gear for a while.

I'm not an early riser.. I doubt I'd make 12:30 even if it was local... Yep - I'm lazy! lol Not sure of gigs, but I think I've got one on the saturday, so will be lying in until 11ish anyway.. lol

 

I'll probably turn up for 3:30pm check-in, get scrubbed up and pretty, and then either meet anyone in the bar, or just meet up at 5ish for pre-curry drinkies.

 

Not really discussed if Carmen is coming. I think she's enjoy it.... but don't know if she would want to hit the town/clubs (I would!)....

She would like to meet up with you lot though - so I'll discuss tonight when she gets in.

after much research into finding us a curry house.... I think "Around The World in 80 Dishes" is our best bet.

With it being buffet style, we can pretty much help ourselves, and also for the more "daring" we can try other types of curry :)

 

Also they have a variety of other dishes too for anyone who doesn't like curry.... (How can ANYONE not like curry?????)

I shall wait for 1 more week until we have a better idea of who is coming before making a reservation.

ALSO... If anyone can think of somewhere better please post the idea and we'll look into it :)

I went online to the hotel and booking went on the £19 saver clicked on the date , checked the details put in my card details then checked all details then clicked through then confirmation came back but WITH the wrong dates! i tried to amend but they wanted another £24 even though the £19 was still showing availability! So i sent them a email five mins after the booking last sunday and got an automated response that they are busy but my email will be dealt with .. i sent another chasing them on it today.

Around The World In 80 Dishes is really good ihave been there about 4 times and never had anything dodgy from from there, Its not a proper authentic indian food in there its a mixture of, Indian, Chinese Mexican and Italian but is very good :)

 

And its also near all the bars and clubs and also underneath the famous Birmingham radio station 96.4 BRMB

Just come down on the wrong day! That way you won't lose your money and there will be more food for you at the restaurant..
