lot of little misshaps going on this weekend so far - im sure im jinxed

 

slipped off a floor joist and put my foot through my recenlty boarded kitchen ceiling. had to reboard a section

 

Had a request for karaoke last minute at a gig

 

went to said gig to find function room was upstairs, fortunately there was a lift but still a chew on

 

venue staff were late making set up a big rush

 

gig was pants as hardly anybody turned up (28 people max)

 

Handle broke on van side door when trying to load up

 

A1 was closed on way home adding 20 minutes to my journey time

 

hit a very large badger at 50mph on the way home on said detour, need to take van to garage for a quick checkover as it was a very very big thump

 

cat has thrown up just inside the front door, which i stood in

 

somebody left the milk out so my coco pops are luke warm - yuk

 

youngest child is fast asleep in my bed so im on the chuffin sofa - if i can shift the cat

 

They say they come in 3's - i wish

If it makes you feel any better Dave, during my set up on Friday night in a particularly tight pair of jeans, I over stretched and ripped the hell out of them. Now I pride myself on being well prepared and having spares of everything, but I'd never factored in a "wardrobe malfunction". Luckily the venue was close to home and I got a replacement pair of jeans delivered promptly. :aa
