MintyDave 0
Hi Paul got a pair sat here (just the hisys 2 not the xt version) , about 6 stone if i remember rightly. I dont have any means to weight them other than the Wii Fit board. The bass bins are a damn site lighter as they only have the 15" driver. I also have a pair sat here and they are the 115xt bins despite being old they do sound good. are you after some? as mine are redundant now Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk

richard stringer 0
Hi Dave I am on the lookout for some. What are you asking for them? I very much dislike Peavey's Hi-Sys series, I used to have a pair of Hi-Sys 4xt cabs, the newer versions with the grey grilles and they were one of the most harsh speaker cabinets i've ever heard, i'm glad they're gone. Now i've got a pair of EV QRX212 cabs and they're so much better and totally rape the Hi-Sys 4 cabs for sound quality and spl output.
diy_disco 0
its worth trying to get the newer models the black grilled (square ones) were discontinued 13 years ago! (hisys 2) Then they made the rounded front ones, which are Dark Bluey Grey Grilled, these were 350watts (Hisys 2) Then they changed them to 500w versions, identical to look at! (Hisys 2) then they had the Silver Fronts, which were also 500w (UL15) Now they have no carpet! Smart black wood with a grey foam grill which comes off to reveal a much nicer black Grill underneath (Ul15)
superstardeejay 0
I actually like the old square HiSys. With a little careful Eq'ing they sound very punchy and musical. They do appreciate a larger amp and sound graceful as they're pushed. They are also better built than the later bow-fronted ones. :usa: .
