30th Birthday party tonight in Welwyn garden ( Shamrock club)

 

Tomorrow it's a wedding at Fanhams Hall in Ware.

 

Sunday another wedding at Fanhams hall, this time an all day affair as doing the music for the ceremony then background music during wedding breakfast followed by the disco.

I've a housewarming party in Lythmn St Annes tomorrow night. Mostly 40-somethings though so 80s, 90s and robbie williams, are on the list (in fact its fairly short), plus a couple of other black lace tracks thrown in too (agadoo, yay!)

 

I'm supposed to be setting up in the dining room which is about 17x17.. this is going to be slightly interesting with a 4ft deck-stand.. May do what I did last week, two datamoons on a t-bar on one side and a couple of uplighters i think... and that maybe that.. (May throw the dynaroll up there - not sure yet).

 

 

Just received my Gator case 10u top 4u front.. and its almost the same width/height as existing road ready - but a bit shorter height-wise.. it also weighs much less empty... so transferring all the kit over to that before tomorrow night to see how it fits on the deckstand, etc...

Residency tonight

 

I've kept tomorrow night free as Laura's folks are away for the weekend so we can spend the night together. (Yes we live with her folks lol) Meal, wine, and a couple of movies methinks.

 

Sunday is a double bash (kind of)

Meeting with my band at 4pm then we're off up to some big old manor house in Northumberland (can't remember the name off the top of my head, sorry) for a wedding.

I'm DJing for a few hours before the band hits the stage at 9:30pm then I'l be DJing between sets as well.

When we come offstage at about midnight our lead singer is taking over DJ duty till god knows what time in the morning!

Should be a fun night.

To avoid all the arguing and stops from the singer and me directed towards the rest of the band (Me and him are ALWAYS rigging up our show ourselves whilst the rest of the band t*t about) we've forked out to actually bring a P.A hire company in for the night. They'll be there when we get there, and will be all set up for us and will be mixing the gig. Result!
