John M 0
Hi All, I liked MintyDave's idea of producing play lists so I thought I would start the next one with the 80's as alot more people are requesting tracks from this decade. Here goes The Whispers - And the beat goes on Black Box - ride on time Luther Vandross - Never too much

vokf 0
Just bumping this thread ;-) The 80's is a great era for music. If you consider what was going on at the time; -Miners Strike -Yuppies -Kids born in the 60's finally hitting the town -Kids born in the 70's (71 here) getting into music -The Young Ones ;-) So - "Specials - Ghost Town", vs "Duran Duran - Wild Boys"! Iconic "teen" films; Footloose Dirty Dancing Cocktail Topgun and many more! If you consider some of the teen films of the day, you WILL find many gems that make people reminisce about their time. The 80's was the decade of the pop video. MTV was born.
