Replacement Speaker

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Just a quick question. I need to replace the woofer and was wondering if I can use any 4 ohm 15" speaker (with the same RMS rating of course) or does it have to be a Peavey speaker?

Thanks

Can be any brand as long as the technical spec is the same.

Broken woofer? Meep, i though the compression drivers were most likely to go first... :(

How old is the speaker?

David,

About 3 years. I actually dropped it and that's what caused it. Never mind.

Ouch :(

Might be cheaper to get a s/h one with a working driver in and just swap the main woofer out? Just the replacement basket alone is 80 odd notes...

Hope you get it sorted..
