yes thats a possibility have u had much luck at car boot sales when it comes to buying reliable gear to make a crust.im sure you can purchase all the fabulous mixers with shinny stickers like TURBO,XPLODE,ect and flashy LEDs, typical 12month bedroom stuff. Not the kinda gear to rely on when u need quality and long term dependency. biggrin.gif

Keep an eye on Ebay. I remember reading on the forum several months back, regarding a member here who bought two DM1200's from Ebay at a bargain price.

Why Buy New - New, Ex-Demo and Graded Disco Equipment at below retail prices

CPC - Great Prices on Leads, Connectors, Consumables, Disco Equipment and Much More

Glow Brothers - Wholesale Distributors of Glow Sticks & Products

The Wedding Mobile Disco Company

Not many people want the DM1200 anymore. It's awkward to use with the placing of the connections, there are no channel gains to help level your tracks, the non-vca channel faders had a habit of dropping out either L or R channels intermittently when they got dirty or worn, and there's no channel EQ for people who enjoy creative mixing.

They are also a pain in the backside to take apart and repair when they go wrong.
