markyb 0
Hi guys! Although I use a laptop, I also use a CD player both as backup in case my computer crashes (which - fingers crossed- has never happened), and also for "background music". For both of these situations, I usually use "Mastermix Grandmaster" CD's. However, Im trying to save some money so rather than buying a Grandmaster CD for around £15, Im looking for a way I could record my own mixes onto a CD, as I usually have all of the tunes anyway. Im not too worried about the actual mixing side of it, but what I really need some advice on the best way to record my "output" so I could burn it on a CD. Any advice would be much appreciated, and if I have been unclear feel free to ask any questions ;o) Cheers, Mark. fester 0
I would imagine audacity would work nicely, it's an excellent piece of software but here's the best bit - it's free!! Create and record your mix then burn it to a cd. Job done :-) http://audacity.sourceforge.net/about/ Craig Dance Sounds Disco http://www.discosheffield.co.uk

Yoshi3 0
You could also check out WireTap studio, it lets you record from any sound source, including your computer or any inputs you have, the recordings are very good quality and you get 30 days free trial before deciding whether you want to buy it or not.
