Dukesy 0
Might be of interest to anybody wanting to branch out into the uplighting industry, or just wants some background lighting. These are also fitted with larger 10mm LED's which generally have a better reputation for brightness and output, compared to 5mm types. LED Par 56 Cans with DMX and Stand Alone 'sound to light' options - £25.00 each This isn't a personal recommendation, as i've not tried them myself, nor have I personally used the company before (which seems to be a Thomann Competitor). I just thought it may be of interest, especially to anybody considering a quantity purchase. Thomann's have a 10mm version which is offered for £35.00 each. http://www.thomann.de/gb/stairville_led_pa...m_black_rgb.htm
ChrisPeacock 0
definately got me thinking about buying a pair for some uplighting behind the dj stand.
vokf 0
definately got me thinking about buying a pair for some uplighting behind the dj stand. Very little info about these. Looks to be sound to light OR DMX only - but it could be the suppliers being lazy... Thomann also didn't provide much info on their lights. So, unless you have a DMX controller, you really need to get a manual to check before parting with cash. Not much point in saving a few quid for something you need to DMX to get a static colour wash. If you can set these up in RGB mode (ie via DIP Switches) then they will be a nice cheap way to set off your rig. I think quite a few of us drop a few LED Pars behind the rig and it really looks sets if off. Jason
