DJSimon-R 0 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Share Posted February 20, 2011 Good evening everyone, I found this website while searching google and it seems a really friendly and helpful community (Thanks for letting me join). I am a 2nd generation DJ (my dad started in the 70's and is still doing it to this day), i learnt alot from him as a young boy going with him to private gigs and just sitting behind him while he rocked every event he did. I have 7 years expereince as a DJ (doing it myself), Started in a local pub with a friend playing on a weekend then landing my first big venue (Nightclub) in my local town playing to 400+ people every friday and saturday night, wich was abit mad at the time as i was only 19. I have now left the clubbing scene and started doing mobile (private) gigs wich i think it alot better than clubs, you seem to get alot more appreciation and i enjoy entertaining a wide range of ages.
