Kam Kcd 400-faulty Or 'jammed'

hi,i just bought twe kam kcd 400 cd/mp3 units,when i got them both powered up fully,i used them for twenty minutes and went to get the sounds speakers.returning later,i tried to power em up,and lol,one bloody deck fired fine and the other appeared to have power as the red power light was on,but on the lcd display is nothing but blocks and not like a graphic eq or anything,the unit is totally stuck like this and appears to be faulty,any advice?is it fixable as theyre lovely decks .ive just switched from vynl.thanx in advance.
