superstardeejay 0
Can anyone suggest a soundcard, audio interface etc, internal or external (PCI preferred) that can provide me with a toslink or S/PDIF input that I can use to record an external source. CPC do one (and indeed its in the bargain leaflet) but they seem permanently out of stock. .
MintyDave 0
If i was in the market for a pro entry level pci card then the m-audio audiophile 2496 would be my first choice £66 - not cheap but good Richmond Karaoke & Disco - Professional Mobile Disco Service For North Yorkshire - www.rkdisco.co.uk
gadget 0
my old Creative Soundblaster Connect USB (White thing) had Toslink In and Out as well as Line In/Out... Although discontinued... I had it directly linked to a DEQ2496 briefly... Found a PCI Card about 20 quid here: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/164495 And this external device for abotu 11 quid: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/106540 There's a few more options on ebuyer as well... superstardeejay 0
Funnily enough I looked at the ebuyer thing before, decent price but I think the postage is offputting for small orders. I've found an almost identical card now from Terratec and I've obtained one second hand! I've just installed the LAME plugin to my MP3 Direct Cut program so when the card arrives I'll report back. Hope my old PC can cope! .
