Mackie Srm1801 Worth Buying?

Recommended Posts

hi all been looking at the Mackie SRM1801 18" active subs do any of you own these? would you recomend me buying them?

chears aaron

I own and use the SWA1501 which is the 15" version they sound fantastic.

I use these coupled with some dB technologies opera 402's and these give a nice clear sound IMO

I think you mean SWA1801 not SRM.

They go very low indeed. Best paired with tops that already have a bit of bass extension....eg the matching 12 or 15in tops. I wouldnt use them with 5in satellites!

The SWA bins are nice and powerful and well built. The amps are reliable and easy to service. They have good limiters.
