hi everybody i was wandering if i could have a bit of help please ?

i have got 2x dyna twins and 2x acme jaguars

i have got the required dmx cable can these be dmx together and if so how do i set them up to work together?

also is it safe if i got a twin plug and put 2 lights on it then used one iec to my lighting box so wen i turn one switch on both lights come on ??

If you mean can you you just link the twins and jaguars together with a dmx cable and run them master/slave then no you can't. The dynatwins and jaguars use different dmx addresses so it wouldn't work.

You can still master/slave the dynatwins and master/slave the jaguars as 2 seperate light shows but you can't link all 4 together to make 1 light show.

 

Regarding running 2 lights off 1 switch on your IEC switch box you need to find the total current rating of the 2 lights and then check how much current each channel on your switchpack can supply. The switchpack should have a fuse on each channel so if you try to overload it, it will pop the fuse.
