Qtx Laser

Morning all

 

We have a number of QTX LS01 lasers, which project red and green. A number of them are now projecting only one colour, it could be either red or green, seems random.

 

I've no experience of repairing laser devices and can find nothing on the internet. Can anyone offer any guidance on either repair or relacement of parts? Many thanks.

most twin-colour lasers use 2 seperate laser units, either supplied off 1 power supply or sometimes with a power supply each. So, you need to check which is to blame, the easiest way if you have a few with different symptoms is to swap the modules by a process of elimination.

 

Unfortunately QTX don't like supplying spare parts so you may be forced to repair at component level or just make some complete units up out of what you've got.
