superstardeejay 0 Posted February 3, 2014 Report Share Posted February 3, 2014 the fault with the mixer will probably be the send/return jack sockets underneath the main outs, change the sockets for new ones. No I know you never use them. While the cover is off, resolder the ribbon headers on the module boards. . Link to post Share on other sites

Although as it turns out fitting the new preamps has solved the problem and there is no longer any noise interference : ) so my thanks once again to Mccardle and superstardj for your advice and I'm pleased to have kept this old deck alive for a few more years : ) Link to post Share on other sites
