YourBigEvent 0
Could have saved yourself £100 if you had read some reviews of the Soundblaster card first http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/oops.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/whistling.gif .....but what do I know ? ChrisPointon 0
yep the Soundblaster does exactly what it says on the Tin, and has several audio enhancing bits of circuitry built in. All for around £30. i've used this on P.A rigs high and low powered and punters really can't tell the difference between CD and Laptop. Highlighted recently when a Guest - watching us DJ from his table came over at the end of the night wondering 'what the laptop was for'. When I had explained he commented on how good the quality was. HopDJ 0
Another problem can be the volume control settings of windows. Check that only the ones you need are turned on. After turning the ones I don't use off, I got a much better sound quality.
