Dukesy 0
Just the Way you are or First My Last My Everything??? (Barry White) http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif There's probably about 3 hours of music back to back (from your list) which should leave the rest of the function time for you to play as you read / see the function develop, no? If you mix some of the tracks - that's less time too. And if the function is (average) 4 hours long, with maybe background music to start off - it could be an interseting occasion!!!! (and if the humidity keeps up - a long hot night!) Have a great time and enjoy yourself!!! Edited June 11, 2004 by discodirect

ChrisPointon 0
QUOTE Faulty Towers (I’ve got this) You do know that this is Andy's 'local' don't you??. Speaking of which I had a text from him earlier and it appears he's on a Boat. Think it was called 'The Titan' or something. Anyway, it seems that after the struggle of getting his heavy stands onboard (without sinking the boat) that by the tone of his texts he was having the same sort of night as me http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/014.gif . My gig was a 21st, with a Grease theme, fortunately I had the soundtrack http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/smile.gif . Unfortunately, however the vast majority of her guests didn't share the same enthusiasm for said Musical and the dancefloor remained empty http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/wallbash.gif. Eventually I changed the music slightly and it got a handful of guests on the dancefloor, but since only 30 ish guests had turned up out of an invited 120 it was a bit of a washout and only 2 of them had even bothered to dress up to match the theme. Friends, who needs them huh? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/533.gif . I felt very sorry for the Girl whose birthday it was, because she had obviously been let down with the poor turnout and had really made the effort herself to make people feel welcome. Now i've remembered the name of Andy's boat, it wasn't The Titan, but The Titanic! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/kid.gif
