ChrisPointon 0
Hmmm £40.00, a little overpriced in my opinion. If you take a look around some of the shareware sites, you can find business software which can easily be customised by the user to suit a requirement such as this for £10 - £20. DJintelligence offers similar along with many other features, for not much more money, so if you've got £40 to spend on this, I would suggest going for something with the most features for your money. YourBigEvent 0
I need something I can easily fill in, send to the hotel, send to a DJ, then send an invoice to the hotel after the event too. Looking into DJIntellegance too. .....but what do I know ? Your Big Event Office:01803 813540 Direct: 0797 0717 448 e.mail:info@yourbigevent.co.uk
Hugmaster 0
Hi I wouldn't buy the DJ Booking Program simply on the basis that the website is very poor, so if they can't get a website right, wich is reasonably easy to do in comparison to writing a software program, how can I trust them to come up with good software? DJ Intelligence is definitely worth the money. I use it and it's paid for itself dozens of times over. You can use DJ Intelligence with a system called DJ Webmin to hold all customer details. DJ Intelligence is basically a way of maximising the potential of your website, whereas DJ Webmin is a business management system. I haven't had time to check out its full potential yet, but if it did everything I needed it to do I'd go with that as it integrate with DJ Intelligence. So any time someone books you from your website, the information is instantly sent to your DJ Webmin system. YourBigEvent 0
But that is OK and hrlpful from a booking point of view, getting details from the punter, but I would also like a form that I can fill out and send to the hotel that book me, then send them an invoice from another click of a button. .....but what do I know ? Hugmaster 0
Hi Yup I believe it's possible to generate all your admin documents from DJ Webmin, no worries. That's what it's designed for after all. Darren Take a listen to Music Matters, the Big Mix Entertainment podcast, featuring music from the Podsafe Music Network.
YourBigEvent 0
Downloaded the free demo, OK if you have got the time to sit in front of a computer, 90% of all my booking are done on my mobile, from the original enquiry, to the booking and getting the cover, so I think mobile phone and iPaq will still have to do, then when I get a spare few hours then type in the details as I am doing now.Unless anyone know differently................. .....but what do I know ? Hugmaster 0
Hi Well if you take most of your bookings over the phone, it won't be much use or save you much time. However, the vast majority of my work comes via my website, whether they've called me or not, so all the info I need is generated by the customer automagically. the few gigs where the customer doesn't have internet access or doesn't wish to use the booking system, it takes five minutes to type the details in and print the documentation off. If I decide to use the DJ intelligence system alongside DJ Webmin, I'll hardly ever have to lift an administration finger, lol The only stumbling block I'm facing at the moment is having the time to input the initial details into DJ Webmin from gigs already booked, but once a gt a few days off I'll more than likely sign up and automate pretty much everything except for the DJing itself. If only I could get the customers to pay with their credit cards! Darren Take a listen to Music Matters, the Big Mix Entertainment podcast, featuring music from the Podsafe Music Network. Wayno 0
it really is an old post! but why we are on the case its more then worth the £40, it keeps everything in check and if you have any questions you can contact Brian and he will run you through it, in my case he replied within four hours, not bad. :) Sometimes in the pursuit of perfection one can get blinded by size.
