Hawaii "theme" music.

Recommended Posts

Ok, think of the end of a Tom & Jerry cartoon, with they sailing off into the sunset on a little hand-built raft...with Jerry strumming his little guitar...Palm trees...coconuts, grass skirts... etc

WHATS that typical tune that just makes you think of Hawaii???? I'm imaging it with those whiny Electric Slide Gee-tars...(American drawl)

The reason that I need to find it...is that I tend to do an on-stage "mini-interview" with Brides and Grooms during wedding receptions, and having a suitable music bed helps...I've got Didgeree-doo music for Austrailia, National anthems for other countries, disney tunes for Florida, even "Oh I do like to be beside the sea-side" played on a Hammond rise-outta-the-floor organ, for couples simply going for a dirty weekend(fortnight) in Blackpool or Skeggy.... but this Hawaii "theme" has eluded me for a decade, since I first wanted it.

Any idea's ???

Not having seen T&G, but knowing the style, try one of the following:-

Hawaiian Love song

Hawaiian wedding song

Hawaiian wedding dance

Can't remember the exact title, but it's probably the one used every time you see the hula dancers.

..playing all the hits for you...

....whether you may be....

Why can't I see what i going on???

Keen not to leave you all in suspenders...sorry, suspence...

I found the tune..it's "Aloha Oe" on Kazza. The audition process was slightly hindered by the fact the the bit that I was after was a chorus, not the start... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/1087.gif James Last (oh & his orchestra, played it about as well as anyone...)

Right...now all I need, is a couple that are honeymooning in Hawaii...(with a "ME" sized luggage trunk...)
