DJshaggy 0
This Weekend just the one gig. IM cutting back again getting ready to go back to Uni, Having a Full time Job, Studying a part time degree course and DJing Takes its toll on me some weeks. Im playing a wedding at the Hilton Hotel in Corby. There are three weddings going on that night with Three Discos. So no doubt there will be the typical 'DJ Penis Envy' Type game going on... which i really cant be bothered with. But its nice to have a drink in teh bar witht he other Djs at the end of the night. The night is shaping up to be a good one. Brit Pop/ Rock based mainly which i love! 7 until 2am though.... and no roadie yet. YourBigEvent 0
Marky, assuming your disco finished at 12.00 and it took you 20 minutes to break it down, then say 20 minutes to drive home (12.40), 5 minutes to put the computer on (12.45) That leaves 7 minutes before you posted your last post. I wouldn't boast you 'pulled' the venue manager and it only lasted 7 minutes. In my day however we used to leave the kit set up and collect the next morning. .....but what do I know ?
