johny k 0
just worked the amp at a gig on saturday it was a big room together with my new speakers gx400 plastic moulded filled the room beautifully ,the only thing was i dont think it comes in on the rms a little bit underated but there again better than my matrix ukp 1000 but my new speakers what a peformer regards john http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/goodjob.gif
transeurope 0
I don't think it's particularly "underrated" as regards RMS, I just don't think it handle bass all that well having a tendency to peak before you expect it on a track like Beyonce's "Crazy In Love" compared to the Behringer EP2500. Would you care to investigate and see if you agree with me on that phenomenon? Thanks...
johny k 0
yes the amp does peak before the bass kicks but overall it handles and for the cost just under 300 pounds id say a bargain only thing it does weigh heavy but is packed with a crossover for a bass bin hope that answers everything
icarusdragon 0
would it be possible to add a 300 watt bass bin to this in bridged mode to help with the peaking or would this only add to the problerm?? i'm thinking of getting a dimension 4 at the moment i am runnig 2 sound labs 15" 200rms speakers but i am upgrading the bass bins to 200watt rms 8 ohms so should be putting out approx 250-300 watts rms at 8ohm plus adding a single 15" 300 watt 8 ohms bass bin for added punch would this amp kick it http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thanks.gif
