Hi, I have read some posts about PAT testing and was wondering if anyone could answer a few questions?

Is it a legal requirement for a mobile DJ?

What qualifications do you need to do it?

Approx how much (per item or per hour?) is it roughly?

Hi,

Do a search on the forum for PAT Testing since there have been several useful topics that you may find helpful.

Also download the following PAT Test Guide which tells you the legalities and the basics of how to Pat Test your own gear.

I am on a couse in December, two days including exam, paying for it myself, then I am going to buy the gear to check hotels etc and try to earn some money that way.

Then I will be offering my services at a discount for DJs.
