The website 123reg.co.uk do domain names for £6.09 for two years, so thats cheaper than the one you mentioned.

However with 123.reg - .com, .org .net domain names are £8.99 for 1 year making it More Expensive than the other two mentioned!. It's only the .co.uk which are cheaper (and the US based companies don't register .co.uk anyway!).

IMHO Google.com seems to favour non country specific domain names rather than .co.uk ones in it's search results http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/533.gif . Yes, .co.uk figure highly in google.co.uk searches but I wonder how many people automatically use google.co.uk for their searches??.

I will have to find out more details about this but im pretty sure our doman only cost us £2.99 and that was for a .co.uk address I will see if I can get hold of our webmaster and get the details.
