superstardeejay 0
Datamoons are probably likely to outlive most other 250W halogen flowers as their construction is road tested, proven and was pretty right from the start. Few effects will give you the same long lamp life as well, which is often overlooked but costs in the long run. They're also damn bright. .

ChrisPointon 0
I still stand by my earlier review of the NJD Datamoon. However pray to the great big pixie in the sky that you never need to obtain spares for the bloody things, as I have now been waiting for more than, wait for it, 3 months to get a replacement part for one of them. For the effect itself I would still award 8/10, however based on this experience I personally, will be sticking with Constella or Thomann in the future!. However a big thank you to Kevin @ K EDWARDS Leisure Electronics (Superstar DJ) who offered his help at trying to find an alternative solution and went well beyond that extra mile to try and help out http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/notworthy.gif - a level of service that the manufacturers could do well to observe!. dj stevie dee 0
Well I bought 2 data moons in flight case plus leads and controller ( DATA CON 1) from prostar for £249. gobo wheel was loose on one unit when bought had to tighten it before first use but still a top buy...so far I wanted to connect the 2 new units to my older version using 5 pin male to female XLR leads but my older data moon has a jack type input.. does anyone know of a lead that I can buy to connect the older type so as Ican have 3 data moons running identical ?? ANOTHER QUESTION..I would like to have all 3 data moons on a goal post stand again can anyone give me an idea on the best goal post stand to use?? each data moon weighs 8 kg. Rushton50 0
another common problem with these are the wires are so rigid and nothing holds the assembly in place that they fracture and come away. although this has happened to me, i would happily buy more, great units just need to know what colour goes to which pin number on the in put lead
