DJ Marky Marc 0
is that including VAT and shipping ? <a href="http://www.djassociates.org"><img src="http://www.djassociates.org/anims/compres_banner.gif" alt="Join the DJ Associates Disc Jockey Association" border="0" width="468" height="60"></a>
ChrisPointon 0
QUOTE Prices All prices are shown in Pound Sterling (GBP) including VAT, unless otherwise noted. The prices do not include delivery or payment costs Bog Standard Parcelforce Delivery is a fiver. Though on the other subject of carriage charges their £16.66 for a next day delivery on hard drive is somewhat steep http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/scared.gif
DJ Marky Marc 0
Thats where they are making the money as the trade price on this drive is arround £53 in one off. also check the warranty arrangements as maxtor wont support grey imports. <a href="http://www.djassociates.org"><img src="http://www.djassociates.org/anims/compres_banner.gif" alt="Join the DJ Associates Disc Jockey Association" border="0" width="468" height="60"></a>
ChrisPointon 0
I emailed this concern to them and they state that the drive is covered by a 3 Year Maxtor Warranty, along with a 10 day cooling off return policy under distance selling, provided the drive hasn't been used. If the drive fails, under normal usage or fair wear and tear anytime within the 3 year period it can be returned to them for replacement. Since the company appears to have been around for a while, I may give them a whirl, i've seen the same drive for £60 at Bowlers in Manchester and some dubious online retailers before, but it's the first time i've seen them this low from a reputable source http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/thumbup.gif . So £60 with standard postage isn't a bad deal (i'm not in a rush), considering 120gb drives are £56 + postage on Ebay.
