Jamie Oliver...coz Im not cooking...(thats one) the cast of Friends (lets see if they really are that friendly) (thats seven), My wife - we have far too few social occasions where we're both able to attend in a non-DJ'ing capacity (besides I know that I'd never hear the end of it if I didn't invite her) (thats eight), Chris Pointon - whilst not a TV celeb, he IS a household name - at least he is in his household...,(thats nine), Morecombe & Wise (thats 11) and The two Ronnies (thats 13) and me (thats 14)....oh well...at least two of the above wouldnt say yes...

I wouldnt invite 12 people anyway, coz with me that would make 13 - unlucky for some.

bon died after a binge fell asleep in a car and choked, some would say in true rock n roll style but was very young and a sad loss(1st record ever bought was whole lotta rosie)

nice to see the ac/dc fans are still around http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/notworthy.gif

Wouldnt call myself a fan as i am a club jock mostly and i like my dance but i do appreciate the importance of ac\dc within the world of rock n roll. Here in Norway you will often hear ,Back in Black, She shook me,Hells Bells played in most fun pubs. I am sure you will be glad to know that a lot of the younger generation like ac\dc here(in Norway ).

Who? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/laugh.gif

No, not The Who, Paula http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/nono.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Anyway Paula, we've got a bet running that your 12 dinner guests would be 6 people from Sales@barcardi.co.uk, and 6 people from Sales@Cadburys.co.uk....

Care to confirm this?

just go's to prove that some music is still as popular as ever,a lot of todays bands are here today and gone tomorrow but most of the older stuff seems to have a greater shelf life.my eldest daughter(10 yrs old)loves 70's disco and often when she hears a modern cover(ie carwash)says she prefers the original http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif

makes you proud to have kids with decent taste.

cheers

mick.

ps i dont mind the new version as i am a big fan of missy elliot but just love the original base line.
