Does anyone else use an Aphex Aurel Excitor, mines an Aphex 104 (and may I nip all the obvious http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/censored2.gif jokes right here please - oh go on then if you must!!!) - I find it really improves the sound of my set up (QSC Amps, RCF speakers, so not bad in the first place) and playing without it just doesn't compare - would be interested in any opinions, how anybody else uses/sets them up etc...are the new models any better?

I got the Aphex 204 Aural Exciter with big bottom[ no pun intended].

And the Aphex 204 really improves the sound and gives beter detail, clearness and cleaness to the sound. And the big bottom gives sub lows and great bass punch to speakers http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif without damaging them like boosting bass EQ does.

Dont forget chaps that what may sound good to you will not sound good to other people.

messing with EQ and audio so it is not true to its original form can generate a negitive reaction from the dance floor.

Be wise. improve your sound systems but dont get carried away.

I use the Behringer 3200 sound processor, which I'm very impressed with and reviewed here on DJs United. (click here).

The single 1rack Unit Device, serves as an Audio Exciter, an Exhancer, and a bass processor (for extra punchy, or extra low Bass)... I've even had to turn my Bass Amp down since adding the sound processor. Superb enhancement for the whole audio system, for half-a-gigs money.
