jackwabbit 0
No off road parking & the closest you can park until after 6:30pm is about 100 yards up the road, we did manage to unload closer without getting a ticket but then we had to move the van. Access to the building was up 9 steps with the bottom one being twice the height of a normal step making it easy to fall up or down, the hall was up another 26 steps making 35 in all. The room is a nice size with the Bar behind a mainly glass wall behind the stage, there are plenty of power sockets around the stage & a switch panel for all the hall’s lighting which includes a large mirror ball & spotlight. All in all a nice hall with plenty of room for 200 – 300 people, just a shame about the parking & all the stairs.
Dukesy 0
Did this venue as a residency for 5 years many, many, moons ago!!!! http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/rolleyes.gif You used to be able to park on the 'island' opposite the club years ago but like all good things - this came to an end. The upstairs 'hall' is a pain - especially when you're trying to leave and guests have to use the same exit, but the down stairs stage area wasn't so bad!
