Miler 0
Any of you people here use Mozilla Firefox to surf the internet instead of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape? I was wondering, those that do use it (or have done) what they think of it and is it worth changing 'cos MSIE is forever getting slated for its poor quality and lack of security. dj007 0
to be honnest in my opinion you wont find anything better than mozilla firefox. i think its brilliant. i have still got IE loaded on my desktop but never use it. when brousing the net and you want to open another page all you have to do is press ctrl and t and it opens another tab at the top of the page. the most ive had open at once was 7 pages and its so much easier to swich pages and personaly i think safer than IE why not give it a go, its free, and if you dont like it just deleat it from your computer and go back to IE. IF IT MOVES, FUNK IT. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---

Danno13 0
Yep.. its my browser of choice as well. Just so much more configurable then MSIE and theres loads of good extensions you can download, the web developer one is really useful..... if you develop web pages, that is. Tabbed browsing is one of the best features as well, although i still can't work out how to make it load links in new tabs rather than a new window http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/sad.gif Revolution Discos - Covering Midlands and the Cotswolds - 01386 898 113 - 07791 261
Miler 0
I had d/l just before I posted this thread actually but I hate the whole new learning curve. I know it's not excessively different but ne'ertheless, some aspects require new knowledge. Ah well, I'll give it a good go. So you're a feminist..... Isn't that cute!! Danno13 0
The first thing i did when i got hold of it was to change the theme, the standard one is a bit plain. I now use Noia 2.0. You'll also want to customise the toolbar at the top, i added an icon for "new tab" and a history, print and email icon (I use Mozilla Thunderbird for email, so they integrate nicely). mobile_dj_crooks 0
i myself have switched to Mozilla...MSIE gave me a nasty spyware called NWS, CWS, and MANY other variants...i had a 808 viruses on one scan (all in the windows or system32 folder!) It took me 3 weeks to clean, wipe, and finally protect my PC. so, Mozilla is my new browser http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/laugh.gif <font color="#008000">laterzzzzz </font> <font color="#0000ff">DJ_CROOKS </font> mobile_dj_crooks@hotmail.com <marquee behavior="alternate"><font color="#008080">Heh, I was a moderator :S</marquee>
+Scooby+ 0
Ive just downloaded it and had a brief look. Seems OK to me, its interesting looking at some of the errors on web sites (including my own). If nothing else it is a good tool for testing web sites. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/cool.gif
