YourBigEvent 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Report Share Posted February 16, 2005 OK, Wednesday should have looked like this.... 9am to 10am Man fitting satellite system into two bedrooms 10am to 11am Computer man arrives to load new laptop 11am to 1pm A few odd jobs that need doing 1pm to 3pm PAT tester here to test gear 3pm to 3.30pm Drive to gig 3.30pm to 5.30pm Kids birthday party 6pm to 7pm Drive to next gig 7pm to 8pm Eat !! 8pm to 11pm Pub quiz It is now 3pm and I am still waiting for the PAT, who 'forget' about me, so he can PAT test the kit for tonights gig, this afternoons gig was a magician/DJ so he is doing the whole show for me. Would like to know the reaction if I 'forgot' somebodys wedding reception. As I have said for years..you get whjat you pay for !! and this guy is cheap (even cheaper once I moan at him and tell him it has cost me the afternoon gig http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/whistling.gif ) .....but what do I know ? The guy could be PAT testing many items for many customers any day of the week. If you can't keep track of what you're meant to be doing, you shouldn't be in business, lol It's just typical of the typical trademan these days I'm afraid. I've had no end of times over the last couple of years when I should've received a pone call or visit from the plumber, electrican etc only to be waiting and waiting. Bloody useless.
