YourBigEvent 0
May I respectfully ask you to do your homework in your next venture, and I am sorry this one didn't work. As you are only 19 take this experience as a learning curve, and hopefully in 20 years time (It really does take that long) you can come back and tell us how to make a million. Good luck wioth whatever you do. .....but what do I know ? Your Big Event Office:01803 813540 Direct: 0797 0717 448 e.mail:info@yourbigevent.co.uk
liquidtrax 0
Yes I have up quick, but why continue withsome that will fail? I don't have the money for the project, I don't have the time to travel to see DJ's and I don't have the experience. I can set up a website selling clothes or something and be in profit tomorrow. Not 20 years time. I am not a DJ, I am in the wrong business Liquid Trax --> http://www.LiquidTrax.net

YourBigEvent 0
QUOTE I can set up a website selling clothes or something and be in profit tomorrow. Not 20 years time.# But I would rather set up longer term project and be in profit in years 2 to 20 as well, not just the first one. There is not a get rich quick scheme around otherwise you have to beat me to the door for it. .....but what do I know ? Gary 0
Well. Although Liquidtrax' direction has been changed or re-focused, all the DJU members who took part on this thread have offered their help, assistance and in some cases cut'n'pastes of legal know-how to someone who could, and indeed did benefit from the assistance offered. I would like to wish the people behind Liquidtrax every success in their future ventures.
High Fidelity 0
It could well be a wise decision to stop early on. I have had a couple of ventures that went belly up after a few years and cost me a lot of money in the end, but I was too blind to see that they were not sustainable. Good luck in your next venture http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif Quitting Smoking & Drinking doesn't make you live longer It just feels like it.

jimmym 0
Good Luck Dave. After reading Mr Ms, posts or guideline http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fear.gif I now feel sorry for Agencies. I still dont believe that I actuall read every word of that http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/sterb188.gif
robbiedj 0
It might have worked, with a little more investigation before starting up. A bit of time at the beginning would have found the problems before any money was involved. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/wallbash.gif Good luck in your next venture, just don't leap in at the deep end before you are sure you can swim! HeadlineDJ 0
I'm based in Blackpool and I only just read this thread after Tony J told me about, when he bobbed round my house... So word of mouth does work to some degree. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif But, being based in the same town as youwere Dave, I did not know about you. It is clear to me that you must not have had a business plan, this is imperitive in any business. Also may I suggest you contact the PYBT, "Princes Youth Busniness Trust", for anyone under 30yrs (like yourself) you can get free courses and they will help you produce your business plan which eventually you take to a bank or other venture capitalists for funding. If you ever decide to start up as an agent of sorts again, ask myself and Tony some questions first, as being in the same town, we know how it works locally.
