Eskie 0
Mikeee; I'm no expert on this*, but I seem to remember reading that this is not an unusual case if you've also been doing any sort of exercise, because your body is turning the fat to muscle. If I remember rightly over the next few weeks the weight will start to reduce if you continue eating healthily. BTW. It's not healthy to lose weight too quickly. It's far better to lose it gradually. *hopefully I will be soon! I start part 2 of my FA coaching badge next week, and there's a section that covers nutrition and also body mechanics; although level 3 goes into this a lot deeper, but I won't finish the level 2 course till late September http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/sad.gif ... so in late Sept I'll come back on and tell you exactly how to sort yer waist out http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/rolleyes.gif Edited March 17, 2005 by Eskie Anthony Winyard Entertainment www.awe-dj.co.uk, Entertaining London & the South-East! kazzachi 0
Tone is absolutely right. The recommended safe weight loss is between 1-2 pounds per week, and it will be easier to keep off... this will also mean that your skin will not become "saggy" or baggy" but will tone with the weight loss. If you are determined to keep the weight off, then exercise is key. Poor old mikeee! Healthy eating rather than dieting is by far better for you.... Try some of these pointers! Never eat after 7pm Put your knife and fork down between bites Dont Fry food Eat in moderation Dont snack between meals Serve your food on smaller plates Chew, chew, chew! I thoroughly recommend joining a gym..... you will get a personal programme designed to meet your needs and will get continued encouragement from your very own gym instructor.. who will modify your programme every six to eight weeks. cj_65 0
Given some of the other threads - cutting out the alcohol or reducing it will make the biggest difference. Check out the food equivalent of a pint - it's scarey. I've been training with two ex-paras for the last year so stopped the alcohol. Cheers, Chris. PS if you train hard your weight goes up as the fat turns to muscle - then gradual loss/plateau if you keep the CV/resistance/core work balanced.

wolfmann 0
brian,i will never smoke again!! i dont want to.all i get now is the odd craving which i just put out of my mind, there is no longer a need so the craving is of no importance to me anymore. as for the diet the worst thing to eat is bread,no white and only a very small amount of wholemeal should be eaten why?god knows but it seems to work and as for slimming world(no im not getting paid for this!!)give it a go because you can eat pretty much as much as you like. cheers mick i'm always in the do do its just the depth that varies
