Gary 0
Candido - Jingo (11 minutes long - time for a quick nap) Donna Summer - I feel Love (15 minutes long - time for a good 40 winks) 24 hours from Tulsa - play it 24 hours from the end of the record attempt. It only takes a minute - played 1 minute from the end... The final countdown... I dont wanna miss a thing... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/sleep1.gif ("I could stay awake, just to watch......") I still think theres plenty of opportunity to incorporate several good things, into this one great thing - find out if there are any truely deserving record artists trying to "break thru" into a career (no, not the deaf karaoke-ists - I'm thinking of perhaps physically handicaped singers etc, who could really do with their debut CD-single getting a boost) who you could play a record or two from - on a less poinient note, play any current (at the time) charity records. If you have to share venue costs, perhaps theres someone who'd be willing to do their record attempt of spending 3 days in a bath of baked beans, etc, at the same venue - the media will appreciate 2 stories at the same venue. Hugmaster 0
Hi Love this topic! Unfortunataly, I think there's a restriction regarding length of songs. If they use the same rules as the radio broadcast record, you can't play anything longer than 6 minutes. Art of Noise, paranoimia, (please let me sleeeeeep) Ultravox, sleepwalk Ozzie Osbourn, I am so tired Elton john, I'm still standing (after I hit the record time!) Keep 'em coming!
