ChrisPointon 0
He does it for the experience / love of it. Yeah, I know I'm lucky http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif . But between Xmas and the New Year I pay for him and his missus to have a Long Weekend Away, so I guess it works out more expensive than paying him on a per gig basis http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fear.gif

jackwabbit 0
I am the roadie! Dave usually gives me £20 but I usually end up getting the drinks from it & bits a pieces to repair equipment, so I don’t actually get anything out of it BUT then again it doesn’t cost me anything to go out for the evening either. nrgize 0
Most of the time I DJ on my own. I have found that whoever I have taken with me can never pack the gear away the way I like it. Especially with winding up the cables and putting them in the right Bag, and putting lights in flightcases the way I call properly lol. But when someone does come with me to help me I normally pay them £20 and buy them few drinks on the evening depending on how helpful they have been. bluejools 0
Have to say I dont have a roadie........ sometimes a friend helps and that is beer for the night....long night is more exspensive The piece i agree with most (not quoting) is that no one packs up how i like it.
