(but next week we fit laser sights...). I think Chris held the door open for you to drop back into a nice moderator role - if you've got the time, full of all the usual things... Although DJU is a little different now as we are now independant, (making us the largest independant UK DJ forum now) as CSL has been curtailed as per Chris's master plan. Dj_Kray 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Author Report Share Posted March 18, 2005 Wow thanks for the welcome back without going in to why i left i did need some time away which i have now had (5 months how time flys) I am glad to be back and want to get involved (but im not going to get involved in any m. jackson topics http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fear.gif ) I have missed to forum and over the last 5 months i have often had things happen that i have thought oh i wonder what they will think of that on dju. I have been djing lot, yet i have been fasing out my mobile work as i felt that was getting me down 1. not ever going out with my friends on a sat and 2. probs with my agent i might go back to it next year but if i do it will be without a agent. On the club side of things im still doing my rnb night wednesdays a cheesy party night thursdays my house night fridays and 1 sat a month i do a 90s night plus the odd mobile gig as i still have a few booked up. On a personal level i am getting married in kenya in november we have 35 friends and family going then me and the wife are going on a week safari then to Mauritius for a week. also gary denon will havev to start paying me money i have convinced 2 people to buty a full denon set up of 5000s and 1500. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif What does it mean now the forum is independant, has that spared chris of spending all his money on the forum http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif . Congratulations to you and your fiancee', I wish you both a long and happy future together. Yes, there have been some changes to the forum, in that we are now allowing retailers to advertise (in a non spamming environment) and take part on the forum. Members can also mention where they buy their gear from and discuss any good / bad retailers in the Buying Equipment area. I still own the forum, and the moderators are more involved with the day to day running of it, but I am hoping to cover some of the expenses by way of advertising and sponsorship. Don't worry that won't mean covering the forum in pop up's and adverts for Ladies underwear and porn sites http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif the layout will not change since the advertising will be done only on banners at the top / bottom of the forum layout. Other than that I am sure that you will find more new members and ideas but other than that very little has changed. I hope that you will continue to join in, and get more involved.
