This is going to be a Strange 18th. Theres quite a following for Queen at this age (I'm 18).. a lot of people in my college like their stuff and it always goes down well at the parties i do for college. Usually play "don't stop me now" or "we are the champions" near the end. Revolution Discos - Covering Midlands and the Cotswolds - 01386 898 113 - 07791 261

brianmole 0
Saturday: Wedding in Silvermere Golf Club. Venue was a little difficult to get the gear in as it was upstairs and I had to use a fire exit staircase, but getting out was easier 'cause I used the lift after they all went home. Great audience (some Russian people there too), cheese all night, managed to play D.O.N.S. ft Technotronic - Pump the Jam which was MASSIVE in Miami, and the reaction was excellent with a packed floor. Mark my words, it is gonna be BIG! How about this for a bit of fun: stick on Gloria Gaynor - will survive. Tell the girls dancing around in a circle that they need a handbag to dance around, they duly produce the cutest little handbag. My response: http://www.dancemix.co.uk/images/handbag.JPG That's not a handbag sticking my UDG bag in the middle! Digital discos 0
Saturday- Band Gig Technical. The place had some gear installed that I had to operate this included a variety of different martin scans, wizzards, colours etc.. Just took my spins along as well for a bit of extra effect... Miced all the bands up.. I enjoyed doing some technical work for a chance Sunday Had a Christening at the Yorkshire Hotel in Harrogate - very nice place in fact. Had a bit of a shock when I found out I was on the fifth floor, lots of lift usage So I got into the room, I had taken my full truss and a mackie sub...but the dancefloor was just so dam small there was no space to setup the truss.....The dancefloor was just a little extension on the tables. So just put two spins on the floor and two on top of the gemini cabs. THe room was simply not high enough I was nearly too tall.. Entertained the kid's pre meal and then the adults afterwards. Usually floorfillers- Van Morrison, Jeff Beck, Tony C etc. There weren't that many people dancing at once but it was rewarding when I got a great cheer at the end and plees for more music laugh.. oh and loadsa cards were asked for.
