P.I.J. Roadshow 0
Hi all just thought I would introduce myself to the forum. I'm 20 from south wales and over the last few months have acquired a huge enthusiasm towards dj'ing. I decided to get into dj'ing because of my interest in such a varied taste of music and I believe I can adjust my music taste to suit different types of crowd. After much research into various parts of mobile dj'ing I have decided to take the plunge and start my own company. I have already designed and printed my business cards which have generated alot of interest and I am now very eager to perform my first gig. I am currently in the process of sorting out some PLI cover and finance for the equipment. The following is a list of equipment which I will be purchasing now and in the future as the business progresses. Kam KCD990 Twin CD Player, KAP500 Mixer & Pro Kamkase Peavey 500w RMS Speakers & Amplifier Package Peavey 250w RMS Subwoofer 2xNJD Datamoon 2xChauvet Omega 1 2xChauvet Fascination 1xChauvet Abyss DMX 2xSoundlab Vesuvio 1xChavet DMX-6 Controller Kamkase 4U Case Numark Radio Microphone Kam KHP Headphones 2/3xKamkase CD160 Cases RR DJ Stand Triangle Goalpost Stand Kamkase Carry Case For Lighting Stand Various Source Bags For Lighting Effects And I also have a laptop for easy location of any song Just wanted some feedback on how this sounds to you Always borrow money off a pessimist as they never expect it back
Gary 0
Hi Daryll Welcome to the Forum. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/Welcome.gif You've already made a great start by posting an introduction here, complete with an impressive range of lighting gear for a new starter. You should gleam a fair amount of confidence having that variety of lighting under your control at a gig - although I understand that some of the list is what you're looking at getting soon, rather than got already. Whilst using the forum search facility to find existing and past posts on all range of subjects, take a brief moment to glance at the code of conduct (near the top of the page, under the blue banner). Feel free to add your comments and thoughts to the posts, or of course, start new posts for any DJ related topic that you're interested in. Again .... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/042.gif Welcome Edited May 19, 2005 by Gary
