YourBigEvent 0
Very good, however I may have put two lighting effects each end of the stage instead of putting everything in the middle of the stage. .....but what do I know ? DJTwinspin 0
well. I do have a goalpost stand what i sometimes use in there but setting it up does consume a fair bit of time. Its one of them 3M Skytec trilite triangular truss goalposts. other smaller show thats what i can use and set it out like but. Im not really satisfied with the above pic setup the lights could have been spaced out better. could have been i was just experimenting what light i was gonna position where. However in the next few weeks im going to be adding a pair of the XP3 Barrells to my show. so it makes 2x xp2s 2x xp3s 2x twister 4hps on my mobile 6x xp2s 2x xp3s 2x twister 4hps on my big setup. the above pic is just an example of the other ways i can set the rig up but i used a tbar for that job because its quicker to pull down Edited July 18, 2005 by DJTwinspin (DJ John)
NineLives 0
Just a personal preference, but I think it would look nicer with 2 matching lightscreens http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif

nrgize 0
I think the setup looks good. I would personally have the scanners in the middle and the twisters a bit further along apart from the scans. Is the Abstract Extreme controller worth the whole £160 it costs ? I have recently brought 2 Moonflower 5XP Extreme and am very pleased with them. Like the Peaveys! I would never get anything else apart from peavey, you cant go wrong with them! And Abstract lighting! Email :: info@nrgize-disco.co.uk

DJTwinspin 0
I reckon the DJC1 is good. Some of the lightshows it has on board are good. The XP2s work well on the controller. But for the price you would probably be better off with a different one unless your going for the whole extreme dj range. As the controller itself is specifically made for the extreme dj. http://www.showcasemusicandsound.com/sales/impulse1012.jpg As for my peaveys yeah theyre good. Dont get me wrong there is better out there. The peaveys are the impulse 1012 series as i mentioned above these are the upgrade to the hisys / ul series same price as the UL-15s but theyre plastic and they sound better and 800w more powerful than the UL-15s the impulses put out 700w RMS 1400w Program 2800w Peak. Nice speakers too! As for the lightscreens they are coming off my rig soon same goes for the disco sign what sits on top of it gonna be replaced as soon as i get a bit of cash for a starcloth booth. hoping to get it looking like this whatcha think? http://www.tojoki.karoo.net/disco.JPG this is what i was planning on the mobile show. as shown in the video. Now at the moment its only a drawing All i need to do is add one of them starcloth booths get a couple of XP3s and XP1s and a couple of frames to mount a cloth onto with the stars on for either side of the starcloth booth what im going to be buying. DJ SPARKO 0
like the show but it looks like an advertisement and would look more attractive with guest actually in it (dancing preferably) http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/hide.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/tongue.gif still learning, still experiencing, still dj,ing
DJTwinspin 0
i do have some with the punters dancing on them. At the moment i need to get some better videos of the setup. Will have some next time im out working. Ive got a weekend off this weekend. So ill get some good videos of the show and the punters. All that video does is show the disco rig. The video was taken about 30 mins before the venue even allowed anyone in. Edited July 20, 2005 by DJTwinspin (DJ John)
