reemicks disco 0
The Song that we played this weekend was Yeah by Usher which was requested by the kids (we done a youth club friday). Also the Crazy frog seems to go down well considering the kids kept requesting it. 2pac - changes.

Kingy 0
I had a wedding on Saturday and the crowd were mainly from the Wirral. They requested loads of Beatles tracks and they went down particularily well. I had a very poor responce to Amerillo. Is it all over??

Goes down a treat and asking for it to be played again, then follow by usual Build me up buttercup, Hey baby etc... I agree, but was surprised last night. I wonder if the public may have had enough of this track??? Bound to happen eventually... http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/533.gif

ryandio 0
Two Pub gigs this weekend, mostly late teens early twenties, these songs both went down very well, the Rhianna one was requested a few times. Rhianna - Pon de Replay Squeez - La Isla Bonita At both places I had requests for a track from James Blunt's album called "Goodbye My Lover" as a final song. Has anybody else had this requested or played it?, came as a suprise to me.... but it seemed to work.
BigBen 0
Did a football team's presentation night on Friday night, under 15's so no girlfriends. It was just 15 lads and a few parents - about 50 in total. I played loads of games and loads of their requests (which were all truly awful) but one song that hit the spot was Billy Ocean - Love Really Hurts. Actually got some adults dancing and even the kids came out of the shadows to sit nearere to the speakers. [insert quirky comment]
ian 0
QUOTE (reemicks disco @ Jul 24 2005, 04:05 PM) The Song that we played this weekend was Yeah by Usher which was requested by the kids (we done a youth club friday). I always find that "Yeah" fills the floor. Talking about Usher, "Caught Up" got a good reaction too. Also "Drop It Like It's Hot" by Snoop got a mad response - which surprised me - thought it was over by now.
