Lots of soul/funk for me on Saturday so James Brown, Aretha Franklin. Otis Redding, Sam & Dave, Martha Reeves, Marvin Gaye etc made a nice change from the usual http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/pooh.gif I'm expected to play at wedding receptions. All mainstream admittedly, but it went down extremely well. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif

I've been away with the family for a few days down to Bournemouth via Weston-super-Mare. Had one of those Classic Cuts mix CD's in the auto-changer to check it out. The track that kept being requested by the family was Dj Ansi and The Hermes House Band (sp?).

Would I play it at a gig? Would I hell !

I'm curious. Does 'Queen - Don't Stop Me Now' have some special relevance that I don't know about? I don't think I even know the song. It's certainly not one of the big Queen tracks I have played over the years.

Just a very good track to play when in the "party mode djing"

Often played in the clubs in the towns and goes down a storm normally here in the uk!

In fact i would say its the most played song queen have done? for partys etc anyway
