jeffwall 0
Mad ere too tony....every station chocka! Panic people, but because of the panic others are forced to do the same and que up for ages. The only reason stations are running out at the moment is coz people are filling up £50 etc. when the strike is not even started yet....But cant blame people i suppose, after the last one! Question Do you agree/disagree with the fuel strike? Sorry folkes just noticed other thread

DJGAVT 0
Its not a stealth tax we all know we have to pay it if we want to drive, and we can all claim some of it back on our tax returns anyways. Plus the percent being taking in tax is less now than in 2000

DJJ 0
QUOTE (DJF @ Sep 13 2005, 12:34 PM) i filled up on saturday bcoz i'm on a course for three days travelling to darlington for two and leeds for the other with day job and paid 99.9p for diesel. Just as well you filled up before you got to Darlington. A few places ran dry last night and there were big queues at some of the petrol stations that did have fuel... mainly old buggers who rarely do more than driving to the old folks centre, bowls club or to get some long life milk from the shops http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif DJJ Edited September 13, 2005 by DJJ

jeffwall 0
Similar prices round ere! Disgraceful!! pound a litre is disgracefull price for fuel, must be the dearest fuel price in the world or very nearly. so you cant blame those striking..... about time somebody made a stand against it, even if it does cause problems more than a third of it goes to the government and only a penny goes to the garages (per litre). But of course people moan about the effects of the strike, me included, but whats to be done about it? gettin ripped off left right and center on everythin you buy! Difficult one and a thread on its own!
