pareshj 0
Hi all, A customer sent me a good piccie of me and my partner in action. I liked it and cleaned it up (good ol photoshop) and posted it on my site - but the area that I could think of sticking it up was in the testimonials area - my Problem is I really don't know if it would looks cheesey or not but I guess you guys can tell me What do you think? should I keep it on that page, elsewhere or take it off completely. Please be gentle http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/014.gif Smiley Happy People Josh www.djspacebar.com

BigBen 0
I like it Paresh - it shows two very happy DJ's. If I were a punter it would encourage me to give you a call because you look approachable. [insert quirky comment]

Gary 0
I think its OK. The rest of the page is balanced up by there being lots of other photo's of 2 people, it all goes well together...

Andy Westcott 0
Always good to put a face to the disco, as long as it's an acceptable and happy face. My vote: keep it there. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif

ian 0
I'm curious why you put it into the testimonials section. To me, it looks like a home page sort of picture. It definitely gives a party sort of impression and I'd be tempted to put it on the home page instead of that mirror ball graphic. If the picture is going to persuade people to book you (in a "those look like fun guys" sort of way) then I'd be tempted to place it as upfront as possible. By the time people get to the testimonials page, they are already more committed to booking you, so your picture will have less impact there. Having said that, there are no pictures of me on my site http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif
pareshj 0
mmm, this is what I was contemplating...As you say, The mirror ball on the home page lets people know that before reading this site, this has something to do with flashy, light disco thingys so hopefully I can win them at least to continue reading about us. The faces on the testimonials page backs up the kind of fun people punters would be dealing with after reading some of the testimonials. I thought this would be cheesy but the chaps on the forum say that it gives a great impression so I'll keep it there. Josh www.djspacebar.com

NRG Roadshow 0
Yea I like that idea, and you two look like freindly happy chaps, so just the thing to give the impression to the punters that your gonna provide them with a fun happy time. (the pics are a bit cheesy, but they work very well in this case. I may do something similar on my site.....but on account of me being such an ugly fupper I just try and focus on getting pics up that show the punters having a good time LOL One problem..... "We want you and YOUR guests have a party thats remembered!" errr.....shouldnt that say "We want you and your guests TO have a party that's remembered" Might be an idea to put something down that you want them to remember the party for the right reasons. Minor critisisum, it just didnt seem to read quite right to me.
