chrismk 0
This happens when you flash your e-mail all over the place, its more likely to be some clever kid who has got himself a premium rate phone number and just sends the same message to everyone, BT by the way now checks these numbers daily to prevent fraud as they are now accountable for any phone fraud
Andy Westcott 0
Silly me - I see it now. Do an automated google search for disco, and e-mail the same message to every website where an e-mail address can be found. Replies are charged mega-premium rate. Guys, you can hide your e-mail addresses from these automated e-mail harvesting programs by using a simple bit of JavaScript. If anyone's interested, ask and I'll send you the code for you to modify to suit your own address. And if you incorporate a NOSCRIPT tag containing a non machine readable address such as "ANDYWESTCOTTPUBLIC at TICALI dot co dot uk", those with JavaScript disabled can still find a way to contact you. I do it on my personal site, and don't get any spam. http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif
DiscoStudio 0
Any number starting with 070:cense: are "personal" numbers and are either used as fax-to-email or follow me numbers. They can cost from 12p/min to 30p/min. Don't ever call them because there is also a 5p connection fee and the carrier charges your operator, so upto 35p for the first minute. Calls from mobiles could be horendously expensive. <a href="http://www.djassociates.org"><img src="http://www.djassociates.org/anims/compres_banner.gif" alt="Join the DJ Associates Disc Jockey Association" border="0" width="468" height="60"></a>
