Who do you use for your telephone service

I am with BT Option 3 but at £25 per month I think I can do better

Has anyone swopped from BT and used services such as 18866 or TELE2(Which seems the better deal), what were BT like when you go to Option 1 ?

.....but what do I know ?

I use Onetel for my outgoing business calls. Much cheaper than BT although my line rental is still with them. That's the next thing to change.

So BT is on Option One, all call through a CPS, I am looking at TELE2 for the calls.

We currently have our line rental with BT no options just standard line rental and our calls are through homecall.

With homecall we get free calls to local and national numbers after 5:30pm, And free calls to anyone else on homecall.

Monthly bill is never more than £20. which is not bad as missus is on it 24/7 to her mum.

BT Line but use 18866 and 1899 for calls to landlines. No additional monthly subscription fees, make national calls for as long as you want for 0p per minute (just pay a 3p or 4p connection fee per call). All you do is sign up and dial either 18866 or 1899 before the telephone number http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/smile.gif

I have also just signed up to 18185 for cheap landline to mobile calls (2p / min at weekends) and international.

I used to be with Onetel, but thought why pay £X a month for free landline calls, when you can get the same free calls for £0 a month!.

We make about 600 calls per month, to 01/02/Mobile mainly.

18866 charge 4p connection, so that alone would be £24.

Call charhes per month are only about £10-£15 to mobile numbers (about 50% off all chargeable calls)

So it looks ike it may not be worth swopping and changing, stick with BT.

.....but what do I know ?

I am on Tele2 and I am thinking of just going back to BT because the minute you start calling mobiles or non geographic numbers (0845, 0870 etc.) through Tele2 the bill soon adds up.

I now someone that went onto tele two and he got a massive bill as he mainly calls mobiles so he also went back to BT.

BT may be more expensive for some things but on the whole I think they give you the best deal.
