The Garden Restraunt at the Hilton Hotel Gatwick South Terminal. GOt a last minute booking htere for this Saturday night http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/thumbup.gif Gear has to be set-up by 7:00, so it means leaving home (Faversham, Kent) at about 3:30 if the venue has good access. Finish at 2:00am which means home in bed by about 4:30 if the venue has good exits!

 

So i need you fine fellas and ladies who have worked/visited the Garden Restraunt at the hotel before to advise me on access, parking, space to set-up, how big the room is and please tell me it is on the ground floor!? http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html//emoticons/fear.gif

I checked that out, i am a bit worried about the view out the window. Do you think it looks like the tops of trees?

make sure they give you free parking, or it will cost you a fortune to get your car/van unclamped

Stayed at the Hilton a few times. The garden restaurant is on the ground floor. As mentioned before check on parking as the wardens are prety hot and will only alow you 20 mins for unloading.

Cheers Shifty! Glad to hear it's on the ground floor! 20 minutes should be just enough to unload aslong as it isn't too far to carry the gear!

 

Anybody actually worked the venue? Any ideas on access or space to set up in?
