  1. Howdy chaps, I have two of these bad boys going spare, have given them a touch up with the old hammerite and they look pretty good, rescued them fro a club installation but they are pretty bloomin heavy, sound quality is superb tho, I'm open to any reasonable offers for one or both,,
  2. It,s ok, replaced the diaphragm and the jobs a good un'
  3. Does anyone know where to buy the tweeter driver for this unit?, I have replaced the diaphragm part with no success so I think I need to replace the hole tweeter unit, the web only turns up limited parts, so I reckon I need the whole unit, or does anyone have a single titan twelve in working order for some cash??

  5. Thanks for that, yes, the mixer does have individual send-return, so I think thats the way to go, many thanks,,
  6. Hi all, I,ve recently purchased a rackmount compressor/ limiter mainly to stop the screeching Karaoke singers popping my tweeters, Question is, how do i include it in my set-up, ?do I put the mic straight into it then into the desk or would I be better using the send/return option on the mixer? that way I could have compression on any channel as well as the main mic?
  7. All good advice and tips there, system is as follows, macgregor speakers, 600 a side, Peavey mixer (not sure which model) Peavey ipr1600 amp, Crest ca6 amp, And all audio either ripped from my cd,s or from i-tunes, The situation i would use it in is the venue where I am a resident dj and all my gear is stored there too so not really much extra work for me ( Other gigs I would just use my other smaller system.) And also the crossover is the Phonic model).
  8. Thats great info, yeah I already have a few amps I could use, probably go for the two way option, Seems a bit more weight added to the box now though, just wondering if the sound quality would improve enough to justify it really?
  9. Does anyone use an active crossover and would it make much difference to me? I currently use the mcregor system with the 2 woofers and the tops on the wee pole thingy, how would i link it up to my system, (mixer into peavey ipr1600, Any tips apreciated as always. (Should have said, the active crossover is a phonic rackmount unit..)
  10. Just Done a stocktake and need to shed some of my way too much gear, Full list, Crest audio CA6, two of these (awesome sound but a bit heavy), Numark dimension 4 Phonic active rackmount crossover,, Warrior amp (Can,t remember model number but thing it,s around 200w a side, Behringer pmp5000, (Really good 24ch mixer desk/amp). I,m based in Scotland but can post if you pay the courier charge, Mail me if you interested in any of these, I would be willing to swap some of this stuff for speakers ect?? Cheers guys,,
  11. Always start up after the slow dance with an up to date chart tune, Rihanna tunes are very user friendly at the mo,,
  12. It,s quite wierd, some nights the floor is packed, another night, people just sitting around chatting,, same style of music, same type of crowd,, go figure,,
