  3. also there is apple itunes for windows wich is avalable and napster is avalable right now. if you are found using cdr's your going to have a job convincing people that its legal. my recomendation to you is classic cuts and pro disk, get both of them to begin with and then build up from there there wont be much that you dont have. good luck and welcome back to the game!

  5. QUOTE (Rendezvous @ Mar 24 2004, 07:39 PM) QUOTE (Eskie @ Mar 25 2004, 04:46 AM)Once this new Bose system has been out for a while (and thus the price comes down) I may well get hold of that cos it seems to be the nuts http://www.dj-forum.co.uk/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif It will be a looooooooong wait. Bose are the world's best at enforcing their MSRP (minimum standard retail price), making sure that their retailers don't undersell the marked price. It's hard to get a great deal on Bose and the PAS system has been the result of ten years of research. They'll be wanting to recoup those costs!
  6. QUOTE (ollygeorge @ Mar 24 2004, 10:03 PM) Thanks ADS, So im going to mix and blend in the sound with the software? Is it a point and shoot job with the mouse to play a track? once the mixer level is up i wll not have to touch that again as i can adjust the volume through the computer is that right. How do you control the software? just through the mouse, as to play a track and adjust levels must be a bit tricky? usualy you will set keyboard shortcuts ie. v = play left deck and b = play right deck etc best of luck, please make sure your not using anything else on the compu

  8. QUOTE (chrismk @ Jan 19 2004, 09:29 PM) Ok, Im looking at the denon s5000 single units (Im not into rack mounted players) and the price is not that much cheaper, one thing loking at the denons right now is those large pause/play buttons, are they easily pressed as i can see a few mishaps is so. The plus isde has got to be the replaceable drive unit and could easily be changed by the look of things in a matter of say 2 minutes tops. Pity it doesnt have a IEC socket on the rear, maybe the newer production run has? Another annoying thing on ALL these single CDJs is there dispays are flat,

  12. QUOTE (DENON @ Feb 21 2004, 07:21 PM) Chris, I really don't know what the fuss is all about. My original link was 100% genuine to demo videos and neither of porn nor does it have links to adult sites! There is one video that may be considered inappropriate for minors, (which is password protected anyway) but even that video is suitable for public television like BAYWATCH. The girls in the gallery are CAR MODELS with clothes on, no nudity whatsoever. I would never post links to porn or adult sites, please people. Thanks for your understanding. silvio lets be honest here mate, by ed
